L’Oreal Infallible Foundation & L’Oreal Mat Magique Powder | Beauty Products Review

Hello Components

Recently I indulged in two new beauty products from L’Oreal Paris, L’Oreal Infallible 24H Foundation and L’Oreal Mat Magique All in one Powder. L’Oeal  Paris is one of my favourite brands when it comes to drugstore products.Thankfully I do not have a skin which is prone to breakouts but you always come across some products which do not go with your skin type. And in that case L’Oreal products have always suited my skin type.

L’Oreal Infallible 24H Foundation

final 1

The first product is” L’Oreal Infalliable 24H Foundation” which is a long lasting foundation and fights the sign of makeup meltdown making it last up to 16 hours. It provides an even tone which comes with a matte finish keeping it shine free.I also like the fact that it is light weight unlike other foundations i have tried on. Personally I would like to recommend this foundation to people who have an oily skin tone which is prone to break outs. Unlike me I have a dry to normal skin which is not prone to breakouts and acne’s thus, the only thing I din’t like about the foundation was that it made my skin a little flaky. So make sure to moisturize your face much with a good primer or moisturizer before applying it.The shade I have applied is 120 Vanilla Vanilla, which is the lightest shade available.

Pros

  • Creamy fluid texture dries down to a matte finish that keeps skin shine-free for hours.
  • Has a lightweight feel and offers good coverage.
  • Holds up throughout the day.
  • Fragrance-free.

Cons:

  • Exaggerates pores.
  • Draws attention to dry, flaky patches.
  • Quick dry-down requires swift and speedy blending.
  • Shade range is tricky to navigate.

L’Oreal Paris Mat Magique All in One Powder

final 2

The next product is the “L’Oreal Mat Magique All-in-one Transformation Powder”, which is a matte face powder best used on people with oily or combination skin. I’m dry skinned, but sometimes when I’m out during the shoot days and I start to sweat, you can bet your bottom-dollar that the oils on my face take center stage (t-zone area) and shine like no other, the compact powder comes to the rescue. My favorite thing about this product is that it actually does last a long time! Maybe not 12-hours exactly for most people, and unless you’re not doing any activities outside in the heat then it definitely could last 12 hours without retouching if you’ve got dry skin like me. The powder texture is soft, silky, almost creamy feeling and it works great as a setting powder for liquid foundation and concealer. It also gives light coverage so you can use it by itself just to even out and mattify the skin. And another favorite is that it’s only Rs  399. It’s affordable and easy on the wallet. I would definitely purchase a refill once my powder runs out!

Pros:

  • Affordable.
  • Good for everyday use.
  • Lightweight texture.
  • SPF.
  • No funny smell.

Cons:

  • Mirror at the back of the powder base

This is the final look I created with above two products.I used L’Oreal Infallible Foundation in shade 120 Vanilla Vanilla and Mat Magique Powder in shade N1 Vanilla.
