The Big Fat Indian Wedding

The big fat Indian wedding,is that event which we all await for most eagerly. After all the major wedding preparations are done for this very day.Beat you are the bride or the bride’s sister, i guess the pressure and excitement of looking the best is upon all of us.And me being the groom’s sister, the anticipation doubled.

Coming to the most important part, the outfit for the wedding day.I was literally in jitters as i was not getting the right kind of lehanga i wanted to wear.Neither could i design one because of lack of time nor could i find the one with the right bling. Finally i settled upon this red and black beauty which i bought from Anantam, a store in South Extention,Delhi. It caught my attention not only because of it’s contemporary design but also it had that perfect dose of bling i wanted in my outfit.I love the minimal yet flamboyant zardozi work on the sides and yes the abstract print on the lehenga stole my heart away.

For the jewellery i had chosen not to wear anything on the neck as it would strike to much with the embroidery on the sleeves.Instead focusing on hands and hair accessories. As i had already mentioned in my previous post of my latest crushing on hair accessories, i bought a matha patti from loveforprettythings.com which complimented my entire look pretty well.
