Travel Diaries | Portishead

Hey Guys

I resolve to travel as many places as I can while i am in England.Thankfully i have the same kind of curious friends here who also have a travel bug lying inside them. While you have seen my last post when I travelled to Bristol. This time it was more of an adrenal rush pushing us than a planned weekend. So not like just any other day of my college when I go back home on my fixed bus, that day without fixing any logistics we jumped on a random bus going to a place called ‘Portishead’ at the outskirts of London. Having no idea of  what it’s going to be like just hoping it matches the same energy of our adrenal rush. While we moved away from London the weather took a beautiful turn. Finally we reached our unknown destination and as we stepped out of the bus we were welcomed by a spectacular rainbow and a breathtaking view. That  was much more of what we had expected !

Portishead has a very positive vibe with a peaceful energy that instills a feeling of staying at that place lifelong. While I stood by the river figuring out the life of people who stay there and waking up with this view everyday,at one point I wanted to own a little cottage near the port and rainbow dropping on my rooftop ! Ahh How I Wish !

Overall it turned out to be a brilliant sudden plan. And for me i guess random plans are always more welcoming and than planned ones!

Till next time

Stay Curious and keep exploring
